Is Western Australia calling? + The best Black Friday deals I've seen!

HeyReader

It's only a handful of weeks until Christmas. Is that crazy or what! If you're planning a getaway, make sure you book now as it's always so hard to get a campsite, accommodation or anything over the Christmas break.

It's also a great time to visit the Southern part of Western Australia. The weather is beautiful, crowds aren't too busy, and it's just lovely! I've have a few blogs that I've written for some ideas, along with a few caravan tech notes from Tim.

This week for me is a busy one, we've had a few health issues with Alex. Nothing major, but more specialist appointments are needed. Which means more wait lists. Hopefully, we can be seen before our next extended travel again. As a freelance writer, I'm lucky I can fit work around his schedule, one of the big reasons I've pursued this lifestyle.

On another exciting note, my first National Geographic article is due to be published soon! Some of you may know I write for many magazines, but this is a special one as I grew up reading National Geographic (I had a love of travel from a young age!) I'm not allowed to say much, but I will let you know when it's live.

Freelancing Fundamentals for Travellers

Like I mentioned before, I've chosen the freelance lifestyle for the flexibility it gives me. It actually started because I needed a way to earn money while caring full time for Alex.

I would have been a useless employee! The amount of last minute changes, doc appointments, therapies and more meant that usual employment wasn't an option. The plus side was that it allowed us to travel whenever we wanted. (apart from medical waitlists!! doh!)

Anyway, 6 years ago I started this freelance journey, and today it's morphed into offering my services as a freelance writer. Because I've had so many people ask how we fund our travels, I've put together some PDFs up to my complete course, Freelancing Fundamentals for Travellers.

Only check it out if you're looking for real work, that trades time for money. (but you can choose when that time happens!) I don't have any magic overnight success stories or have millions in the bank. Just the knowledge to set up a real business and look for real work - all with skills you already have.

Check out my PDF guides, mini course and full course here

Plus, as I was busy with doc appointments, I didn't get a chance to send out any reminder emails for the sale I had last week, so I'd like to extend the sale until 1st Dec.

Please use BF50 at checkout for 50% off any PDF or course.

Count down to 2025-11-30T13:15:00.000Z

(I don't run sales often, so please check it out if you're thinking about starting online work)

If you have any questions about the blogs or our course, please reply to this email.

Also, if you have any specific destination or Caravan tech tip you'll like us to write about, just reply to this email :)

Have a wonderful week, safe travels, and remember to say yes to adventure!

Margie and Tim :)
